Measure your feet in the afternoon when they are at their largest.
Wear the type of socks you plan to use with the shoes when measuring.
If your feet are different sizes, always buy for the larger foot.
There should be about a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe.
Men's and women's sizes differ — a men's AU 8 is roughly a women's AU 9.5–10.
